"They're Just my Friends" - directed by Attika Torrence - Based on the life story of Cruiser weight boxing champion Pat Black, whose rise to the top, eventually ends up being affiliated with the mob. Eventually, love with a neighborhood girl and other misdirected actions, Pat Black ends up behind bars, where a mentor from his past causes him to reflect on his past and point him in the right direction. John Cha Cha Caircia, had a co staring role playing himself in the movie.
"Spy" - directed by Alexander Klymko, the tagline for the movie is "The only thing to expect is the unexpected". The story of an “internet techie” who paid job is to capture images of a woman, he eventually falls in love with. He ends up with the dilemna of trying to save her from a fate, she does not wish to flee. John Cha Cha Ciarcia plays the character of "Marble Mouth"
"Death to Smoochy" - Cha Cha plays character of the Autograph Man in this movie directed by Danny DeVito. Fired as a children’s show host, discovers a new way to fame and fortune in from of the camera with a purple rhino named, “Smoochy”. Things start turning ugly when he finds out that the people he is working for are more concerned about making money.
"It had to be you" - directed by Steve Feder - Two separate weddings go on a collision course, after a trip to New York City
"New Rose Hotel" - Cha Cha plays himself in this Abel Ferrara directed film about two corporations fight over who is going to take over the world by hiring the most brilliant minds and talent.
"A Brooklyn State of Mind" - Playing the character of Richie Tail in this 1997 film directed by Frank Rainone, it is the story of a film maker’s whose goal is to film a documentary showing “the real Brooklyn”, and the discovery of some dark secrets which lead to a confrontation.
"The Funeral" - In this 1996 movie, Cha Cha was again under the direction of Abel Ferrara. It is the story of two brothers who have to deal the the violent death of their younger sibling. John Ciarcia plays himself in the film.
"Hoffa" - In this Danny De Vito directed film; Cha Cha plays the character of D’Ally’s Financial Advisor. The film is based on the life of the Union Leader, Jimmy Hoffa, who is the subject of many urban legends.
"Mickey Blue Eyes" - Directed by Kelly Makin, Cha Cha played himself. It’s the story of a Britian who love for a daughter of a Mafia Kingpin, also has a few strings attached.
"Who do I gotta kill?" aka "Me and the Mob"- Directed by Frank Rainone, Cha Cha pkays the role of Marty “No Neck” Scalia. The plotline is that Jimmy Corona’s persona is so bad, nobody wants him around, so he joins the mob, and then they don’t want him either.
"Goodfellas" - Considered one of the best Mafia Genre movies of all time. In this Martin Scorcese directed film, Cha Cha was part of Billy Batt's crew. "The Freshman" - Director Andrew Bergman, A comedy based on the friendship of an innocent kid and a veteran mobster. The movie starred Marlon Brando, Matthew Broderick, and Gianni Russo (The Godfather).
"Honeymoon in Vegas" - Director Andrew Bergman, A Bride, 2 Grooms and 34 Flying Elvis’, what more could you want. John is credited as "Johnny Cha Cha" in this film, which starred James Caan and Nicholas Cage.
"One Deadly Road" - In this 1998 film, directed by Frank Adonis, John Ciarcia, plays the role of Burt Young’s Body Guard. The movie was filmed in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
